We treat many common mental health issues and provide medication management and/or therapy. The foundation of a treatment plan includes a solid and comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Understanding what targetable psychiatric diagnoses may be present, including comorbidities, psychological makeup, and environmental and behavioral variables all come into play during an assessment. Especially with children and adolescents, a developmental history and functioning in different contexts (school, home, etc) are taken into account during treatment. There are different approaches to managing symptoms and understanding the pros, cons, and alternatives to each allows for an informed and holistic approach to treatment.

Medication Management
Medication can play a significant role in improving the symptoms of many psychiatric problems. As a team, you and your doctor would discuss whether medication is an option to pursue and discuss the pros and cons.
